Volunteer Spotlight - Yoly Moy

We are pleased to announce that Yoly Moy has joined our team as a volunteer for the highly anticipated Adobo Throwdown Cooking Competition and Food Expo 2.0!

Yoly, as she is fondly called, was appointed by the Commission on Audit as Auditor of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) in Honolulu, Hawaii.  She became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, right after finishing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Accounting degree from the University of the East, Manila.

After her stint with PNB, she worked at Bank of Hawaii, until such time her family moved to San Antonio Texas for her husband’s work assignment at the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Her professional experience includes working at Bank of Hawaii, (after her expat years at PNB), Frost National Bank in San Antonio, and the City of San Antonio (COSA), Finance Department.  She retired from COSA as a Compliance & Resolution Officer.

She has always been involved in the San Antonio community, being a former President of the Philippine Women of America, Inc. (2016-2017).  Yoly also served as Chair of the Institute of Texan Cultures Filipino Exhibit Advisory Committee (2018-2019).  Currently, she is the Region Chair of the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce – Central Texas Region (2020-2021).

After retirement from the City of San Antonio, Yoly became a Real Estate Agent, which keeps her busy besides attending to her volunteer work with PACC-CTR. Yoly hopes to help a lot of family and friends fulfill their dream of home ownership.  In this way, she considers this helping more, the San Antonio community, by being a competent and trusting Real Estate salesperson.

Yoly is married to Robert, a supportive and loving husband, who she loves to travel with as their favorite pastime.  Together they have three wonderful daughters; the eldest now married, who gave them an adorable grandson.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Yoly for graciously accepting the volunteer role and look forward to her contributions in making this event a resounding success. Her presence will undoubtedly elevate the experience of all participants and attendees, leaving a lasting impression on the culinary landscape.
